Invitation

You are cordially invited to The Meadows School’s Invitational Tournament, Friday, October 27 through Sunday October 29, 2023. We will provide competition in Varsity Policy and Lincoln Douglas debate on the 2023 fiscal redistribution topic and the Sept/Oct 2023 right to housing topic.

There is no entry deadline – we will accept entrants until we are full. Registration will open on Monday, August 14 at 12:00 Noon, PST. Fees will be frozen on Monday October 23; entries that drop after that time will still be obligated to pay entry fees.

We will attempt to hold a small novice division in each event – We have a very small campus, with strictly limited space. We are going to attempt to carve out spaces for small novice divisions, if varsity entry numbers allow it. Both varsity divisions will consist of six preliminary debates. Power matching will be based on Wins, High Low Points, Opponents Wins, Double High Low, Total Points and Judge Variance. Rounds Three through Six will be matched High Low within brackets. Novice divisions are to be determined.

Lincoln Douglas will be double flighted. Due to space limitations.

All entries will be placed on the waiting list initially. To get off the waitlist, please send your entry fees.

We do not allow Independent Entries.

Novice Policy will be limited to the NDCA Packet.
